The Borg RPE (rating of perceived exertion)
scale is a tool that is used to measure the intensity of your workout or physical activity by tuning into your body.1 The scale ranges from 6 to 20 (rather than 0 to 20) because it is related to heart rate, for example a score of 6 corresponds to a heart rate of 60 beats per minute (in a healthy adult).1

Riccardo Piovesan recommends that people
with gMG should learn how to achieve the target intensities of very light to somewhat hard. That’s the pink highlighted target intensity. Use this scale to measure how strenuous and tiring any exercise feels to you.

It is your own feeling of exertion which should alert you when to stop exercising.
